What is the WEEE?

The WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) directive was produced with the aim to minimise the impact of electrical and electronic goods on the environment. As part of the directive manufacturers and importers must take responsibility for treating and recycling their products when they become waste.

What are Timesco doing for the WEEE directive?

Timesco are involved with the Distributor Take Back Scheme. As part of this scheme any of our WEEE items will be collected and either recycled or disposed of in the correct way according to government guidelines.
